Do you make a mean Chili or just have a taste for the Hot Stuff? Chili is taken pretty seriously here in Arizona, and the Southwest in general! There's still time to enter for this year's Chili Cook-off, this Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Windmill Park in Cornville, AZ from 10 AM to 2 PM. Create your special version of this popular dish for crowd tasting and / or judging. Or just come out to taste the People's Choice or Red Chili. The event is organized by the Yavapai Chili Society, the local chapter of the Chili Appreciation Society International.  Winners earn points toward participating in the Terlingua International Chili Championship. It's just $3 per person to get a taste of each of the entries. Rules can be found on the community website ​​www.CornvilleAZ.org. ​​Due to fire restrictions, only propane cooking is allowed.
