Sedona and Verde Valley Natural Beauty, Parks and Recreation

There's a lot to see and do in Sedona and the beautiful Verde Valley beyond the obvious jeep tours and tourist attractions, including some things that are budget friendly such as our growing system of public parks. These also come in handy if you are traveling with active kids or pets (or adults!) who might need to stretch their legs! Of course, our parks and open spaces also enhance our lifestyle here and are an important resource for relaxation and enjoyment by local residents as well. Here are a few of our favorites:

Golf in Sedona & the Verde Valley There are eight golf courses in the area, seven that are open to the public and one private course - a wide range of prices and challenge levels.
