Riverfront Park and Deadhorse Ranch State Park are also located near Old Town, and offer a wealth of opportunities to enjoy our wonderful high desert climate. Riverfront Park is host to local softball tournaments, disc golf, picnics, and gatherings of all sorts. Deadhorse Ranch State Park offers both day and overnight use, with RV & Tent Camping and Cabins, You can go hiking, boating, fishing, and horseback riding. The adjacent Verde River Greenway State Natural Area offers an additional 480 acres of riparian habitat to enjoy.
